"The Evil Dead" is another classic horror movie directed by Sam Raimi. "The Evil Dead" was one of those movies when it came out, it was a huge deal. The scene where Ellen Sandweiss (Cheryl) gets raped by the trees was banned in multiple countries. "The Evil Dead" was the launch of Sam Raimi's (director/writer) career. This movie will be considered one of the greatest horror flicks with "The Shining" and "Psycho". "The Evil Dead" is how many movie writers wanted Sam Raimi to direct their movies like, "Spider-Man", "The Oz Great Powerful", and "A Simple Plan". This amazing horror film is definitely amazing to watch and especially with a very low budget. "The Evil Dead" will absolutely go down as one of the greats.
