"Battle Royal" is an amazing foreign film. "Battle Royal" was directed by Kinji Fukasaku who is known for "Tora! Tora! Tora!", "Under the Flag of the Rising Sun", and "Graveyard of Honor". "Battle Royal" was first the hit novel written by Koushun Takami. Both "Battle Royal" the novel and "Battle Royal" the movie were fantastic. In 2001, "Battle Royal" won 2 the Blue Ribbon Award for the best new actor (Tatsuya Fujiwara), and the best film. Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, & Django Unchained) said that "Battle Royal" was his favorite movie. "Battle Royal" is one of the top 10 highest grossing films in Japan. This film is fantastic.
